Music City Hot Chicken

Raised in Fort Collins, brothers Jordan and Sam are Lambkin and CSU grads. Attending shows, eating out, and drinking beer, they began to notice a chicken-shaped hole in the food offerings in Fort Collins and felt the readiness of fried chicken would fit with the established craft beer scene. Just as they adapted Nashville’s style of chicken, they adopted the name of Music City Hot Chicken.

In the year and a half since they have been opened, they have been blessed with a wonderful reception from the surrounding neighborhoods and the greater community. For those not familiar with hot chicken, it’s fried chicken reborn with a fiery spirit! A dry application is made to southern fried chicken that allows it to stay crispy and is an important difference from Buffalo’s style of chicken. You have the option to choose your heat level- Southern style with no heat, green chili blend, hot, Nashville hot, jerk, white-hot or flammable solid. If you choose a hot blend, its aggressive flavor isn’t one you will soon forget.

Music City Hot Chicken

The specialty of the house is fried chicken. The diversity in the preparation comes in how you have it finished, and the sides and sauces you pair with it. With 9 scrumptious side dishes including sweet potato fries, mac & cheese, and baked beans, along with 9 mouthwatering sauces, the options are plentiful! They rotate monthly features so stop by often!

The restaurant is a casual and comfortable place for families in the neighborhood to come in and dine. Much of what you see in the restaurant was made by the owners, including table tops, the bar, and art on the walls. An expansion was completed and garage doors were installed that allow for fresh Colorado air and beautiful nights.

Hot chicken and cold beer are best friends and Fort Collins is undeniably beer rich! They have found the greatest success in the draft and can selections that showcase many Colorado breweries. Bartenders create many great flavors thru the offering in the full bar. Kegged cocktails are a new addition, currently featuring Juicy Jacuzzi, a grapefruit and champagne cocktail.  A daily happy hour is from 3-7pm.

Open for lunch & dinner Mon & Tues 11am-8:30pm, Wed & Thurs 11am-10pm, Fri-Sun 10am-10pm. Brunch is available Fri-Sun.
